Fresh-Aire UV Announces Daugherty Sales as ‘Rep of the Year 2013’
NEW YORK, N.Y. — Fresh-Aire UV, Jupiter, Fla., named Daugherty Sales Co. Inc., Charlotte, N.C., as its “Rep of the Year 2013” at the International Air-Conditioning, Heating and Refrigerating Exposition Jan. 21, in New York City.
The 14-year-old manufacturer’s representative firm presented dozens of UV technology seminars and installation tips on Fresh-Aire UV’s APCO, Blue-Tube UV and the Mini-UV System to large HVAC contracting companies and wholesale distributors throughout its territory of North Carolina and South Carolina.
Fresh-Aire UV also issued the “Rookie of the Year” to manufacturer’s representative, Brian Bushnell, principal, HBB Pro Sales Group, Chagrin Falls, Ohio.
“After eight years as our rep, Daugherty Sales exemplify what a long-lasting manufacturer and representative relationship should be,” said Ron Saunders, vice president, Fresh-Aire UV.
The rep firm also diversified into commercial markets in 2013 with projects such as a large pharmaceutical plant HVAC systems that Daugherty helped consulting engineers retrofit for UV. The plant’s more than 100,000 cfms of air handlers were retrofitted to use dozens of Fresh-Aire UV’s TRS Series of UV light systems for mold and biological contaminant elimination.
