Daikin Releases New 19 Series Single-Split Ductless Residential Systems
HOUSTON, Texas — Daikin has released its new 19 Series single-split ductless residential systems. The 19 Series replaces the KE Series, offering higher SEER capabilities (up to 19.0 SEER vs. 18.0), greater heating efficiency (9.0 HSPF vs. 8.2) and an improved drain pan design allowing for better drainage and cold weather operation. As a result, the 19 Series provides as low as 0 F low ambient cooling and heating operation down to -4 F.
Available as heat pump or cooling only models, the 19 Series also features a new streamlined indoor unit design paired with a quiet, compact outdoor unit using Daikin’s Inverter compressor technology. The new 19 Series is ideal for single-zone comfort enhancement, spaces requiring added heating or cooling and additions up to 1,600 square feet. The 19 Series systems range from .75 to 2.0 ton cooling capacity and have an Energy Star Tier 1 rating.
“The 19 Series provides a step up in efficiency from our 15 Series units. They are still well within the realm of budget-minded consumers who want to enjoy the benefits of ductless technology, including our advanced air-purifying filter system. The new indoor units are aesthetically appealing and easily blend in with the surroundings,” said David Palazzolo, ductless product manager. The 19 Series is available now and carries Daikin’s 10-year parts limited warranty.*
