YORK Expands Line of YLAA Air-Cooled Scroll Chillers up to 200 Tons

MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Johnson Controls has expanded its YORK line of YLAA Air-Cooled Scroll Chillers up to 200 tons. The extended capacity of the YLAA offers a more cost competitive solution to 200 ton opportunities without sacrificing size, quality and efficiency.

The YLAA weighs less and has a smaller footprint than other chillers in its class. The scroll compressors are proven reliable and the units are equipped with two independent circuits for partial redundancy. They also feature a brazed plate heat exchanger, microchannel condenser and native building automation system communications, including BACnet, Modbus and N2. With the state-of-the-art heat exchanger technology that allows refrigerant charge to be reduced by as much as 30 percent, the YLAA chiller provides the most ecologically friendly equipment. Partnered with its low-sound properties for noise pollution prevention, this chiller is a true earth-friendly offering.
