ANSI Approves Home Evaluation and Performance Improvement Standard

The Air Conditioning Contractors of America Educational Institute Standards Task Team announces American National Standards Institute approval for ANSI/ACCA 12 QH – 2024, Home Evaluation and Performance Improvement, as a revised industry standard.

The 12 QH Standard establishes minimum requirements to evaluate a residence regarding energy efficiency, water conservation, occupant comfort and indoor air quality. From this evaluation, improvement opportunities are presented to the customer by a design practitioner so they can select improvements that meet their needs.
