The USHGC and USPSHTC are model codes developed by IAPMO to govern the installation and inspection of solar energy, hydronics and geothermal energy systems, as well as swimming pool, spa and hot tub systems, respectively, as a means of promoting the public’s health, safety and welfare. The 2027 edition of each code is being developed through a process accredited by the American National Standards Institute.
