Resideo Launches Next-Generation Honeywell Home Dehumidifier

Resideo Technologies introduced the Honeywell Home Whole Home Dehumidifier. Developed to address the changing trends in home construction and HVAC system design, and with input from HVAC installers and distribution partners, the dehumidifier is a high-performance IAQ system with a tri-directional outlet for flexible, fast professional installation. It offers tight-space serviceability, easy access for filter changes and advanced diagnostics to help eliminate guesswork during a service call.

Engineered to perform in harsh, real-world conditions, the built-in temperature, humidity and differential pressure sensors, located on inlet and outlet sides, actively optimize performance and extend product lifecycle. A water leak detection rope automatically shuts the unit off to avoid water damage.

In addition to dehumidification, the 90- and 120- pints-per-day models combine ventilation control for timed ventilation, damper management and smart compressor activation based on outdoor air conditions. The 90 PPD model offers industry-leading efficiency and the 65-PPD unit is the only product in its class with ENERGY STAR certification.
