GE Appliances Expands Vertical Terminal Air Conditioner Portfolio
GE Appliances, a Haier company, Air & Water Solutions has expanded its Zoneline vertical terminal air conditioner lineup with the introduction of new 2-ton (24,000 Btu) UltimateV11 and UltimateV12 models. The new models are designed to meet the growing demand for options to service larger guest suites, extended-stay accommodations, apartments and shared amenities while maintaining the space-saving footprint and aesthetic advantages of a concealed VTAC system.
The 2-ton Zoneline UltimateV11 and UltimateV12 VTACs feature variable-speed inverter technology that modulates output from 5,000 to 24,000 Btu. Paired with an ultra-quiet twin-rotor compressor, the system operates longer at lower speeds to improve energy efficiency, humidity control and overall comfort.
The units are designed with installation and service in mind. GE Appliances’ Insta-Platform quick-install system reduces installation time and removes the need for custom on-site platform construction. Additional features include a self-contained drainage system, fast-connect plumbing and a self-aligning, lock-in-place design to support quicker service.
