Southland Industries Announces Appointment of Jim Meacham as Chief Executive Officer

Southland Industries appointed Jim Meacham as chief executive officer, effective Oct. 1. The appointment follows a deliberate, multi-year succession process and approval by Southland’s Board of Directors.

Jim Meacham began his career as an intern with Southland Industries more than 23 years ago and currently serves as chief operating officer. Since assuming the role in 2024, Meacham has overseen company operations and the strategic direction of Southland’s divisions, driving performance and operational alignment across the enterprise. Before becoming chief operating officer, Meacham served in multiple leadership roles, including regional president, division leader for the Mid-Atlantic Division, and division leader for the national division.

Meacham will succeed Ted Lynch, who has served as chief executive officer since 2011 and led the company through a period of significant growth, operational expansion and strategic transformation. On Oct. 1, Ted Lynch will transition to the role of executive chairman.
