Daikin Introduces Commercial Heat Pump, Heat Recovery Systems
Daikin’s new VRV EMERION with low-GWP R-32 heat pump and heat recovery systems streamline installation and simplify maintenance — while delivering connectivity, control, monitoring, performance and sustainability for commercial buildings.
The redesigned three-phase, air-cooled systems are focused on bringing flexibility to facility managers and owners. Compact and designed to help reduce installation and commission times, VRV EMERION with R-32 helps expand heating and cooling operations, simplify maintenance and enhance energy savings.
The 16- to 20-ton single module and 22- to 40-ton dual module systems deliver up to 24.6 IEER and 3.80 COP efficiencies. To help cut installation and commissioning time, an auto address feature with a new D4 net communication protocol delivers larger data volume and up to 30 times faster communication speeds, compared to D3 net. Ambient temperature capabilities are from -22 F to 122 F. The systems also run quietly, down to down to 58 dB(A).
