Fellowes, HVAKR Launch IAQP-Ready Solution

Fellowes and HVAKR introduced an integrated solution that simplifies application of the Indoor Air Quality Procedure within ASHRAE Standard 62.1.

Developed through a strategic partnership between the two organizations, the application embeds IAQP calculations directly within HVAKR’s cloud-based mechanical engineering platform, turning what has historically been a complex process into a more practical everyday workflow. The platform gives project teams a way to evaluate compliance options, energy impacts, HVAC sizing considerations and documentation requirements earlier in design.

Fellowes is also introducing IAQP-Ready Array air purification devices. Configured with an IAQP-Ready filter that is efficiency-rated according to ASHRAE 52.2 and ASHRAE 145.2, the solution provides verified performance data that can be used to evaluate contaminant-removal effectiveness as part of an IAQP design. Within HVAKR, engineers can use this data to evaluate application requirements, document projected performance and specify the appropriate Fellowes Array solution within the broader HVAC design.
