METUS Introduces Residential Whole-Home Ventilation System
Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US launched the Residential Ducted Lossnay HVAC ventilation system that provides a smart approach to whole-home solutions. The unit provides a continuous supply of filtered outside air, can help dilute indoor contaminant concentrations and offers humidity control and year-round comfort.
The unit integrates into new or existing HVAC ductwork, delivering a steady supply of outside air to living spaces. Available with either a Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value 10 filter or an optional MERV 14 filter, the system can dilute indoor contaminant concentrations by filtering incoming air before it enters a room. The unit’s selectable airflow settings, ranging from 40 to 110 cubic feet per minute, provide flexibility for a variety of home sizes and residential ventilation requirements.
Designed with installation flexibility in mind, the compact unit measures less than 9.5 inches high and 20 inches wide, making it well suited for a variety of residential applications. The unit can be mounted between joists, fixed directly to a ceiling, suspended from a ceiling or mounted horizontally on a wall. An integrated access port simplifies commissioning by allowing contractors to easily measure pressure and balance airflow.
