Caleffi Expands Plumbing Product Portfolio with Vacu-Stop

Caleffi North America, Inc. has expanded its plumbing product portfolio with the 304 Series Vacu-Stop Vacuum Relief Valve. Available in ½ inch and ¾ inch MNPT, the Vacu-Stop is suitable for use in water and low-pressure steam services. It is ideal for use in water heaters, supply tanks and low pressure steam systems.

The valve automatically allows air into the piping system to prevent a vacuum, which could siphon water from the system and damage water heater/tank equipment. The valve meets the ANSI Z22.21 standard and is compliant with International Plumbing Code Section 504.2 governing safety devices. It is also NSF 61 and NSF 372 compliant making it usable in potable water environments.
