Systemair Introduces VStak Vertical Stack Fan Coils for Hospitality, High-Rise Residential Applications
Systemair has launched the VStak Series, a vertical stack fan coil designed for hospitality and high-rise residential applications where space, installation efficiency and occupant comfort are critical. The new series combines two 86-inch-tall models in exposed (VStak-X) and concealed (VStak-C) configurations, EC motors, heating/cooling and built-in control to simplify design, installation and long-term maintenance across large multi-unit buildings.
VStak’s key features include:
- Wide airflow range: Three airflow capacities (300-400, 600-800 and 1,000-1,200 CFM) accommodate a wide range of room sizes and load requirements.
- Compact footprint: Units measure just 15 3/4 to 24 inches wide and 15 3/4 to 20 inches deep by 86 inches high, ideal for space-constrained designs.
- Efficient installation from floor to floor: Optimized for stacked floorplate designs with factory-configured assemblies that speed installation and minimize field adjustments.
- Flexible configuration: Multiple piping, discharge, cabinet and controls options adapt to a variety of project requirements.
- Versatility: Hydronic heating and cooling capabilities; optional electric heat.
- Service-friendly design: Accessible panels, filters, motors and fans simplify maintenance, while an integrated drain pan streamlines service.

VStak is available in concealed and exposed models. VStak-C (Concealed) can be fully integrated within walls or closets to maintain clean architectural aesthetics; this is ideal for hospitality applications, condos and premium residential spaces. VStak-X (Exposed), available with a factory-finished cabinet, is designed for visible installations where durability and accessibility are priorities, such as retrofit projects, dormitories and institutional housing.
