Bosch Launches New YORK Furnace Portfolio
Bosch Home Comfort Group launched the YORK Y82V and Y92V 2-Stage Variable Speed Furnaces, which deliver quiet, efficient comfort all year long. The Y82V is an 80% annual fuel utilization efficiency non-condensing furnace, which is an ideal primary or backup heat source in milder climates. For colder regions, the Y92V is an ENERGY STAR 5.0-rated, 97% AFUE condensing furnace that helps improve energy efficiency and reduce utility costs over time.
By combining two-stage operation with variable-speed airflow, these furnaces deliver more consistent temperatures, quieter performance and improved overall comfort all year long. They can also reduce humidity in the summer, improve indoor air quality and reduce hot and cold spots in the home.
Designed with the installer in mind, the Y82V and Y92V are engineered to simplify installation, commissioning and service, helping contractors save time while delivering a high-quality homeowner experience. Key features include:
- Digital commissioning with three 7-segment LED readouts allows installers to set airflow faster and more accurately align thermostat and furnace-control settings
- Contractor-friendly cabinet design that accommodates the installation of an electrical box and/or disconnect switch, providing easier service access and more working space
- Easily accessible service components, including flame sensors, igniters and blowers, help reduce maintenance time and simplify routine service calls
- Improved duct flanges make coil installation and supply-air connections easier
- Internally vented downflow kits provide greater application flexibility for the condensing furnaces, especially in narrow closets and other tight spaces.
- An advanced internal condensate trap provides conversion to horizontal and downflow applications.
