WaterFurnace Introduces New 5 Series SAH Air Handler
FORT WAYNE, Ind. – WaterFurnace International Inc. introduces the 5 Series SAH Air Handler. Available in 2-6 ton capacities, the units offer comfort, versatility and efficiency in three compact cabinet sizes.
When paired with the WaterFurnace 5 Series split system, a 5 Series Air Handler provides the perfect solution for replacing an air conditioner or heat pump in homes with limited utility space. The air handler utilizes R-410A refrigerant and can be field adjusted to four configurations for a wide range of applications. An optional cased/uncased coil is available for dual fuel applications, while an electric back-up heat option provides added peace of mind.
The air handler’s Aurora control board couples with the Aurora Expansion Board in the split system for energy monitoring and troubleshooting capabilities. With these controls, the air handlers work seamlessly with the WaterFurnace Symphony home comfort platform, IntelliZone2 zoning system and all WaterFurnace communicating thermostats.
5 Series SAH Air Handlers feature all-aluminum A-Coils, which are not susceptible to formicary corrosion and provide extra durability and extended system life. The units’ variable speed ECM motor, when equipped with Aurora Advanced Controls, runs at only the speed needed for maximum efficiency, which leads to lower electric bills and greater comfort.
