IAPMO Makes New Tentative Interim Amendment Available for Public Comment
ONTARIO, Calif. – In accordance with the IAPMO Regulations Governing Committee Projects, IAPMO officials announced that a Tentative Interim Amendment to the 2015 edition of the Uniform Mechanical Code is being submitted for public comment.
TIA UMC 005-15 would amend Section 603.4.1 of the 2015 UMC to include language permitting the use of flexible air ducts as an elbow at a terminal device.
IAPMO invites all interested parties to review the proposed TIA on the IAPMO website under Uniform Mechanical Code/Proposed TIAs and respond by filling out the comment form at: http://codes.iapmo.org/docs/2015/UMC/Submit%20Public%20Comment%20for%20UMC%20TIA%20005-15.pdf.
