Emerson Climate Technologies Announces New Vice President of Variable Speed
SAINT LOUIS, Mo. – Emerson Climate Technologies, Inc., a business of Emerson, announces the promotion of Brandy Powell to vice president variable speed. In this role, Powell will be responsible for global strategy development, product line management, and new product development for Emerson’s variable speed compression technologies.

Since joining Emerson Climate Technologies in 1993, Powell has held several leadership roles within the company. Most recently, she was vice president of residential marketing, in which she provided strong leadership in evaluating the market’s future requirements and defining Emerson’s next generation compressor product programs. Powell was also instrumental in the development of CoreSense™ compressor electronics strategy and technology.
Powell has a bachelor’s degree in aeronautical engineering from the U.S. Air Force Academy, a master’s degree in aeronautical engineering from the University of Dayton and a master’s degree in business management from Xavier University.
