Water-Tite Introduces Single Shot Insulating Suspension Clamp with Preloaded Nail
COLLIERVILLE, Tenn. — IPS Corporation announces the new Single Shot Insulating Suspension Clamp—the only insulating suspension clamp on the market that comes with a preloaded nail.
The new-and-improved Single Shot now offers the plumber more easy-to-install options. First, a new key-hole closure assists in the pre-hanging of pipe—the installer can pre-set the nail to the joist, slide the pipe into the clamp and then set the nail. Alternatively, the installer may slide the pipe into the Single Shot, and then simply nail it into the joist. Second, a new stabilizing foot allows the clamp to rest against the joist to eliminate rocking or movement of the clamp and pipe.
The Single Shot can be used anywhere the standard insulating suspension clamp is used, through a stud or hanging below a ceiling or basement floor joist. The clamp is available in ½-, ¾-inch and 1-inch CTS sizes, compatible with copper, CPVC and PEX tubing.
