Armistead Mechanical Receives Safety Award from MCAA
WALDWICK, N.J. — Armistead Mechanical, Inc. was presented with a safety award from the Mechanical Contractors Association of America on March 11 during the organization’s annual conference. The award is given by MCAA in conjunction with CNA, a business insurance company offering programs designed specifically for mechanical contractors.
The awards program identifies, encourages and rewards exemplary professional safety. To be eligible to win one of the five MCAA/CNA Safety Excellence Awards, a company must earn safety statistics exceeding the nationwide industry averages, as well as submit a written application detailing its safety program, including any innovative initiatives that helped it achieve such high degrees of safety. In recent years, the selection process has grown so competitive that additional phone interviews have been necessary to determine final award recipients.
“This joint recognition from the MCAA and CNA shows our customers that Armistead Mechanical is committed to the prevention of workplace injury and illness and the well-being of our employees,” said Kevin Armistead, chief operating officer of Armistead Mechanical. “Our company is dedicated to maintaining its excellent safety record along with high standards of mechanical contracting services.”
