Applications Due June 27 for WOA 2025 ASPE Tech Symposium Scholarship

The Women of ASPE is offering a scholarship to help a deserving WOA member attend ASPE’s 2025 Tech Symposium in Orlando, Florida this fall. The goal of the scholarship is to foster the growth and professional development of women in the field of engineering.

The scholarship will cover expenses up to $3,000, including a one-year membership renewal, full registration to the 2025 Tech Symposium, special events, round-trip airfare, hotel accommodations, airport transportation and meals.

To be eligible, applicants must be a female either employed in a plumbing-related field or enrolled in an engineering program as a student, in addition to being current members of ASPE and WOA. Each candidate will be required to fill out the application in full. The deadline to submit an application is June 27.

The Women of ASPE Committee will review all applications and make their final determination on July 2. The recipient of the scholarship will be notified on July 7.

The scholarship recipient is required to attend all WOA events during the Tech Symposium (as applicable), write a narrative on their experience after the event for marketing and social media purposes and pose for an official picture taken by ASPE staff during the event. Narratives will be due within one month after the event.
