Rainwater and Stormwater Standards Consensus Body Members Sought for Development of Standards

IAPMO, the American Society of Plumbing Engineers and ARCSA International are seeking technical experts to participate in the following consensus bodies:

• Rainwater Standards Committee: This committee will be responsible for the update of ARCSA/ASPE/IAPMO 63 (Rainwater Catchment Systems)
• Stormwater Standards Committee: This committee will be responsible for the update of ARCSA/ASPE/IAPMO 78 (Stormwater Harvesting Systems Design for Direct End-Use Applications)

ARCSA/ASPE/IAPMO 63 addresses the collection and use of rainwater from rooftops and other above-grade impervious building surfaces. ARCSA/ASPE/IAPMO 78 covers stormwater harvesting systems, including new installations and modifications to existing systems. Its scope supports efforts to reduce watershed pollution, manage flooding and recharge aquifers through sustainable stormwater reuse technologies.
