ASSE Seeks Working Group Members for Development of Hydronic Systems Standard

ASSE International is seeking working group members to support the update of ASSE 19000, Hydronic Systems Professional Qualifications Standard. Those interested may apply online at asse-plumbing.org/membership/committees/working-group-application. The application deadline is Feb. 26.

“The subject standard provides uniform minimum requirements for qualified installers and designers of hydronic heating and cooling systems, as well as for qualified installers of solar water heaters,” said Terry Burger, IAPMO’s senior director of standards development.

ASSE professional qualification standard working group members will assist the Professional Qualifications Standards Committee in the continued development of this American National Standard. Industry stakeholders — including installers, manufacturers, plumbing professionals, building owners and managers, engineers, AHJs and the general public — are invited and encouraged to apply to participate.
