GE Appliances Adds VRF Systems to Commercial HVAC Portfolio

GE Appliances, a Haier company, launched the GE R-32 Variable Refrigerant Flow platform, expanding its commercial HVAC portfolio with a solution designed to help consulting engineers, specification representatives and mechanical contractors simplify system design, support project execution and specify commercial VRF systems with greater confidence.

The portfolio includes GE MRV-7 and GE MRV-7S systems for a range of commercial applications. The platform offers heat pump and heat recovery configurations, flexible capacity options, extended piping capabilities, third-party air handling unit integration and wireless communication. It is designed to support challenging building layouts, retrofit applications, occupant comfort needs and projects where architectural flexibility is important.

The GE MRV-7 system offers 6- to 20-ton single-chassis modules, with combinations of up to 36 tons. The GE MRV-7S system supports 3- to 5-ton heat recovery applications, including single-phase configurations for lighter commercial and flexible project requirements.
