Carrier, Building Talent Foundation Collaborate to Empower Next-Gen HVAC Technicians

Carrier, a part of Carrier Global Corporation, is collaborating with Building Talent Foundation in an effort to advance the sustainability of the sector’s workforce.

A sustainable workforce is comprised of people from all backgrounds and ethnicities, where an individual is valued by their employers and colleagues, they are well trained in the skilled trades, engaged in the work they do, resilient to changes in the workplace, kept safe and healthy while on the job and treated with respect.

As Carrier innovates to address the planet’s most complex challenges, the company encourages its employees to volunteer their time and talent. BTF will connect Carrier’s volunteers to its vast network of HVAC training partners as classroom speakers, role models and student mentors.

Along with a substantial financial commitment from the Carrier Foundation, Carrier will also be actively involved in BTF’s HVAC Industry-Education Skilled Trades Council. The Council brings together leading HVAC skilled trades employers, educators and HVAC manufacturers to better align future talent development with industry hiring needs and trends.
