Lochinvar Unveils New FTXL Fire Tube Boiler at 2014 AHR Expo

At the AHR Expo in New York City, Lochinvar, LLC unveiled its FTXL Fire Tube Boiler. Designed with a stainless steel fire tube heat exchanger, the FTXL Boiler sets a new industry standard by delivering 98 percent thermal efficiency and 10:1 turndown.

The new line, which will be available starting in June 2014, includes five models with inputs ranging from 399,000 Btu/hr to 850,000 Btu/hr. Each model features the same compact size with a 6.2-square-foot footprint.

In addition, the FTXL Boiler is equipped with Lochinvar’s most advanced SMART SYSTEM interface. Offering a wealth of new control features, the operating system allows for remote communication with the boiler via Wi-Fi or a wired Internet connection. This new connectivity capability redefines monitoring by simplifying data acquisition and providing remote diagnostics.
