GF Appoints Robert Downie VP, Sales (US) of GF Building Flow Solutions Americas

GF, home of the Uponor brand, has announced Robert (Bob) Downie as the new Vice President of Sales (US) for GF Building Flow Solutions Americas, effective Sept. 21. In this role, Downie will drive revenue growth strategies while leading high-performing teams and building long-term customer relationships. He will report to John Reutter, president of GF Building Flow Solutions Americas. Downie will also serve as a key member of the company’s senior management committee.

Downie joins GF with over 20 years of experience in the building products and plumbing industries, leading teams across premier brands such as American Standard, Delta Faucet, Grohe and Duravit. With large-scale commercial knowledge, he bridges the gap between strategy, people and execution to grow customer relationships and increase profitability. His skillset spans across organizational transformation, operational excellence and channel management.

Downie holds a Master of Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University as well as a bachelor’s degree in communications. Downie is also a member of Plumbing Manufacturers International’s Strategic Advisory Board.
