HEPA, ULPA Filters Deliver High-Purity Air Filtration for Critical Systems + Applications

Parker HVAC Filtration, a division of Parker Hannifin Corporation, unveiled its new line of MICROPLEAT high-efficiency filters designed specifically for HVAC applications. The filters feature a media blend and a mini-pleat design that provide outstanding particulate removal, dust-holding capacity and efficiency—making them an excellent choice as a high-purity air filter.

Designed to trap microscopic particles and contaminants in the air stream, MICROPLEAT filters are available to meet both HEPA and Ultra-Low Particulate Air minimum ratings up to 99.97% at 0.3 microns and 99.999% at 0.12 microns, respectively.

These new MICROPLEAT filters are available in a wide range of materials and configurations to install in all types of housings and framing systems. This flexibility makes them an easy and effective upgrade for engineers and facility managers looking to improve indoor air quality in clean rooms, self-contained equipment and other applications where high-purity air and energy savings are required.

Whether a HEPA or ULPA MICROPLEAT filter is selected, both are ideal for use in ceiling-mount systems or areas where space is limited. They are uniquely engineered for lower-air flow applications where laminar air flow is needed. The filters offer the following additional features:

  • Certified to ISO 9001:2015 and C UL listed
  • Wide variety of cell side materials including wood, galvanized steel, stainless steel, roll-formed aluminum and anodized extruded aluminum

The MICROPLEAT filters are used in a variety of HVAC supply and exhaust applications, including:

  • Hotels and entertainment complexes
  • Food processing
  • Microelectronics manufacturing
  • Data centers
  • Commercial office buildings
  • Schools and universities
  • Hospitals and healthcare facilities
  • Research labs
  • Clean industrial manufacturing
  • Government institutions
  • Laboratories
