Friedrich Launches Revolutionary Breeze Room Air Conditioner

SAN ANTONIO, Texas — Just in time for spring, Friedrich Air Conditioning announces the launch of Breeze, a revolutionary line of ductless room air conditioners.  This quiet, affordable, easy-to-install system works in almost any room — with or without windows — and can also help lower energy costs. The thoughtfully designed Breeze system, with its innovative flexible line set and EZ connect, means there is no longer a need for a professional installer. The entire system comes with everything required in just one box and can be up and running in less than one hour.

The Breeze system includes a contemporary indoor module that connects via a patent-pending line set to an outdoor module. The indoor module is compact, lightweight, whisper quiet and can be positioned up and out of the way. Its inverter technology not only allows the unit to attain the desired temperature faster, but also maintains a tighter temperature band while cutting energy use with fewer compressor startups. Breeze has a SEER rating of 17.8 that saves homeowners money by using less energy.  With the system powered from a standard indoor outlet, no outdoor power is needed.

“Breeze is a game changer in our industry,” said Wink Chapman, vice president sales and marketing. “This system has been designed for easy installation with a pre-charged line set so you can even do it yourself. It is a great cost effective way to heat and cool any room, including a basement or garage.”

Friedrich has simplified the selection by offering adjustable capacity models. For spaces that are 550-1,500 square feet, there is a model that operates between 12,000 through 24,000 BTUs. There is also a model that operates between 4,000 to 12,000 BTUs and is designed for spaces from 100 to 550 square feet.

Friedrich will showcase this new product at the National Hardware Show in Las Vegas, May 6-8, at booth # 4308.  Friedrich provides a comprehensive parts and labor warranty which covers one year on all parts and labor, plus five years on all sealed system components.  For more information, visit www.friedrich.com.
