Antimicrobial HVAC System Coat Protects Hospitals, Schools from Mold & Mildew

Modine’s GulfCoat AM is a new, powerful antimicrobial after-market coating that is used to protect HVAC systems in hospitals, schools and other settings from mold and mildew caused by fungal growth; deterioration caused by mildew; staining and discoloration due to mildew growth; and the development of microbial odors.

To help protect systems, the spray uses silver ions from the Agion compound to inhibit the growth of bacteria, molds, fungi and other microbes for long-lasting antimicrobial protection. GulfCoat AM utilizes UV protection and cost-effective indoor air quality enhancements to improve IAQ and extend the equipment’s life.
