Navien Unveils Air-to-air Heat Pump
Navien has introduced the NAZ17 Air-to-air Heat Pump, which provides heating and cooling by absorbing heat from the outside air and transferring it indoors or by expelling indoor heat to the outside.
The NAZ17 Heat Pump operates solely on electricity and effectively regulates indoor temperatures across various climates. The heat pump works well with the NAM Cased Coil and NAS Air Handler, but is also compatible with other systems.
Key features include dual fuel compatibility and environmentally friendly R-454B low GWP refrigerant. The heat pump is energy-efficient with matches up to 19.0 SEER2. It is compatible with one or two-stage thermostats and performs in outdoor temperatures from -4 to 124 F. An Internet of Things module is included, which provides bluetooth access for contractors.
