Watts Launches New Single-Stage Total PFAS Reduction Filtration System

Watts has launched its new Single-Stage Total PFAS Reduction Filtration System. Designed for easy connection to most existing kitchen and bathroom faucets, this system offers plumbing contractors a practical way to meet growing customer demand for reliable water filtration.
Unlike many filters that target only PFOA and PFOS, this advanced system is certified to reduce 99.5% of Total PFAS — a broader category of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances. In addition to PFAS, the system also reduces lead, cysts, asbestos, microplastics, chlorine taste and odors and sediment, offering comprehensive protection in a compact, easy-to-install design.
The Watts Single-Stage Total PFAS Reduction Filtration System addresses this need with a high-flow rate of 2.5 gallons per minute and a high-capacity 0.5-micron carbon block filter rated for 3,200 gallons. The cartridge is designed for simple replacement every six months, and the system’s user-friendly design eliminates the need for a separate faucet during installation.
Additionally, the system’s replacement cartridge is compatible with Watts’ existing Single-Stage Lead Reduction System, allowing current users to upgrade to Total PFAS protection without changing the entire unit.
