Barb Donaldson Named New Executive Director of Plastic Pipe and Fittings Association

The Plastic Pipe and Fittings Association has announced leadership transitions as Richard (Dick) Church is retiring and moving into an advisory role by the end of 2025; Barb Donaldson assumed the position of executive director, which became effective Jan. 13.

A member of American Society of Plumbing Engineers’ Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter, Donaldson brings more than 30 years of extensive experience in the polymer industry; 20 years have been specifically focused on pipe and fittings. Her background will empower PPFA to continue the critical work of developing and updating industry standards and guidelines. Donaldson’s previous leadership roles across various companies and industry organizations have established her as a passionate advocate and a positive force in the industry.

To ensure a smooth transition, a designated time period will allow Donaldson to benefit from Church’s extensive experience before complete retirement. The existing PPFA staff, alongside resources from association management partner, CM Services, will support this transition.
