National Standard Plumbing Code Public Hearing Set for Aug.14
Plumbing industry stakeholders are encouraged to review the proposed code changes for the 2027 National Standard Plumbing Code and attend the NSPC public hearing, Aug. 14, in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
The NSPC Committee accepted proposals for changes to the 2024 NSPC from July 1, 2024 through Feb. 28. Changes approved at the August hearing will appear in the 2027 NSPC. The NSPC Committee reviews the code annually and updates it on a three-year cycle.
The proposed changes for the 2027 NSPC will be available to the public for downloading and viewing after June 15 at iapmo.org/NSPC. No hard copies of the proposed changes will be available at the public hearing; interested parties are encouraged to download the file. The public hearing will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. EDT Aug. 14 at the Caesars Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City.
