The USHGC and USPSHTC are model codes developed by IAPMO to govern the installation and inspection of solar energy, hydronics and geothermal energy systems, as well as swimming pool, spa and hot tub systems, respectively, as a means of promoting the public’s health, safety and welfare. The 2021 edition of each code, scheduled for publication early next year, is being developed through a process accredited by the American National Standards Institute. The notification of the ROC availability will also be posted in the ANSI Standards Action for public review. The public review deadline is Oct. 26. Comments can be sent to codes-dept@iapmo.org.
