New Vice President and General Manager Named at Hart & Cooley

Al Mejia was recently named vice president and general manager of Hart & Cooley. In this role, Mejia will lead the continued success of Hart & Cooley’s sales, operations and HVAC product development, including grilles, registers and diffusers, flexible ducting, venting and access doors.

“Al’s experience and proven track record in product innovation and manufacturing excellence will continue a long history of success for both brands,” said Rod Rushing, vice president and general manager, Products and Distribution North America, Johnson Controls.

Mejia has held global leadership and business development roles at Actuant, Rexnord and Pentair, and engineering management positions with General Cable and Andrew Corporation. He earned his M.S. in industrial engineering from the University of Illinois and his B.S. in industrial engineering from the Universidad del Norte, Barranquilla Colombia.
